Farmington Hills, MI — Centria Autism (Centria), a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, today announced a pivotal upgrade to its proprietary data collection tool, CareConnect. This update guides Behavior Technicians through implementing Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) and marks a profound leap forward in the autism care industry.

CareConnect is a practice management software that allows BCBAs to prescribe individualized goals and interventions to be utilized and then empowers Behavior Technicians to input session data to help identify progress and ultimately achieve desired outcomes. The new upgrade propels Centria's goal of bringing lasting, positive change to the sector. By implementing a clinical model that underscores the dignity of the client, the new SBT-focused feature in CareConnect provides an opportunity for personalized, compassionate care like never before, and allows for dedicated focus on increasing quality of life through skill development.

"We've worked hard to develop a model of care that continuously centers around our clients, their hopes, dreams and goals while honoring the dignity and value of every person we serve," said Timothy Yeager, Chief Clinical Officer at Centria Autism. "Our newly improved CareConnect, with its SBT data collection feature, adds a first to the market, Indicators of Assent, where technicians are taught to look for and take data on clients assenting to treatment. We are putting our values into practice more effectively, offering more tailored, assent-driven, skills-based treatment to our clients."

The innovative SBT data collection feature of CareConnect is set to transform how ABA therapy is delivered, how data drives clinical decisions, and our technology guides Behavior Technicians to make appropriate data-based decisions. This upgrade reiterates Centria's ongoing commitment to raising the bar for industry standards, continuing to lead in the quest for compassionate, dignity-centered care for autistic individuals.

"Having worked as a clinician with many clients across a variety of environments and available resources, I've worked hard the last 18 months to create an application that puts the client first while making the technology more supportive, intuitive, and more comprehensive than anything else in the market to support optimal outcomes for our clients", Hillary Laney, Vice President of Functional Assessment and Treatment.

This release is the second of three planned technology upgrades to align CareConnect with the Foundations of Care. On March 3, the Foundational Plan, Centria's Universal Protocol, was released. The final release will be integrating the Practical Functional Assessment.

These three components are critical to the company's "Foundation's of Care" Model, which underpins Centria's commitment to deliver care rooted in understanding, respect, and dignity. This model, designed to encourage a culture of compassionate care, is discussed in detail in a recent blog post, available at https://www.centriahealthcare.com/blog/centria-launches-mentorship-model-supporting-values-directed-compassionate-care.

The CareConnect tool's upgrade is one of many investments made by Centria to provide a deeper, more comprehensive collection and analysis of behavioral data, leading to stronger treatment plans and better clinical outcomes. Its emphasis on SBT programming reflects Centria's commitment to equipping clients with the essential skills they need to thrive.
