Considered the "gold standard" of ABA Therapy, Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) focuses on high-commitment ABA Therapy for children less than six years old. EIBI produces more long-term improvements for a child with autism than lower-intensity treatment plans.
While EIBI is recommended, it is never too late to enroll your child in ABA Therapy. Children of all ages have shown great success mastering key skills and behaviors through ABA Therapy.
Centria Autism is one of the nation's leading providers of ABA Therapy. Our expert clinical team creates individualized treatment plans for your child based on his/her specific needs. To begin enrollment for your child, or to learn more about our EIBI therapy program, click the button below.
Recent studies prove that early intervention matched with intensive therapy help children living with ASD lead a successful life. Clinical Brief Vol 1, No 2: Despite Latest CDC Figures on Autism Prevalence, There is Hope
The signs of autism vary from child to child, as does the timing of those signs. The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests all children be screened for autism at 18 months and again at 2 years of age. However, some children may also be diagnosed when they are much older.
"After one year of intervention… children (aged 15-35 months) improved significantly in their verbal ability, and the severity of autism symptoms was reduced."
Research shows that children who receive intensive early treatment services are more likely to have improved long-term outcomes, but the first step to treatment is diagnosis.
Diagnosing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly very young children who are first learning to communicate with the world around them, can be challenging and complex. Parents may recognize that "something is wrong" but are unable to identify the exact challenges or reasons why.
Centria Autism provides ABA Therapy in 13 states across the country through in-home therapy and center-based therapy options.
